San Sebastian

The destination of this adventure is the old mining town of San Sebastian -- a beautiful, antiquated village dating back to 1605, tucked away in a deep mountain valley.

One of the oldest mining towns in Mexico, San Sebastian reached its peak of prosperity in the 1700s, with over 20,000 inhabitants in the area at that time. Today, San Sebastian remains an outstanding example of how people used to live and work in a remote Mexican mountain town -- it is a living museum untouched by time, and an experience difficult to surpass.
